Join us for an interactive talk on what arts and culture policy is, how it influences our work everyday, why we must be active participants.

Toronto artists and art workers - we need to talk about arts policy. Did you know our entire industry operates under various framework and is influenced highly by governance decisions?

However, most of us are unaware of these policies. I know this isn’t our daily cup of tea topic, but as we are the foundations of the industry surely we must know a little bit about the frameworks we’re working within.

This will be a foundation roundtable in arts policy, consider this a very basic chat about what this even is and why it’s so important for you to be aware of it.

Open to all artists (every level of skill), institution leaders, arts administrators, arts workers, policymakers, and all supporters of the creative industry in Toronto.
